Unicaster

Unicaster is a grotesque typeface with a unified case height for both upper and lower case. This style, known as Unicase, provides a strong composition appropriate for short texts, titles, packaging and similar forms that fall into the ‘Display’ category. The original reference to the typography is found on the back cover of the album Part One by the psychedelic group West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band (WCPAEB), published in 1967, where the extensive name of the group appears written in these characters with an irresistible charm. We did some research on the original font and, finding no clues, we decided to offer our personal view of the model. [type-o-tones.com]
