Tradition

Tradition is a caligraphic serif font, from the hands of Percy Delf Smith, and digitised by Mads Wildgaard in 2024. The design itself distills the principles from which Delf Smith gained recognition — open forms, subtle serifs but an expressive spirit. The shapes themselves aided the generation of gc16, which became a reinterpretation of these gentle expressions in a digital language.
