Sticky

Sticky is a typeface utilizing the limitation of writing with masking tape. Sticky was inspired by sign painting, classical italics, and pichação style graffiti. The typeface has multiple ligatures and automatic alternative letters to create tight spacing and a convincing sign painting feeling. With simple strokes and economic structures, the typeface is perfect for headlines and call for actions. Sticky was initiated by Simon Memel, Lucrezia Noro and Eran Ben Barak in the class of Kai Bernau and finalised by Eran Ben Barak in 2023.
