Pilot might just be a font for devoted fashion enthusiasts. This font was born from the desire to create a contemporary extended typeface of undeniable elegance. We picture it perfectly fitting into fashion editorials and photo shoots. But there’s no way it’s a one-season wonder : Pilot was designed to stand the test of time. Like timeless wardrobe staples, every detail has been carefully designed to achieve a high sense of balance, equally blending both feminine and masculine accents. The roman style embodies Pilot’s stately side: mature, elegant, and forward-thinking. The italic, on the other hand, is more experimental, even boldly expressive. In fact, this is our first deep dive into italic design—and we didn’t hold back. […] It combines angular, pointed ends with smooth, comfortable curves and fluid transitions in the diagonals.
