FDI Wunder

FDI Wunder is based on the typeface Laudahn-Kanzlei originally designed by Heinrich Laudahn and released by Bauer in 1913. FDI Wunder is a carefully crafted revival design based on the original letterpress fonts. [fdi-type.de]

FDI Wunder is available in two styles, one that follows the original blackletter design and another with romanized letterforms. The fonts include a “dancing baseline” feature.

Initially offered in October 2023 as a free download for Typography.guru supporters. Made available for general licensing in January 2025.
