F37 Ginger’s geometric shapes and unusual near-circular counters, make it an ideal choice for logos and headlines. F37 Ginger is our best seller. Since its birth in 2013, this sleek, geometric san-serif font has been used by some of the world’s biggest companies, becoming a favourite with brands such as Google, Pepsi and Barbour. While we were drawing F37 Ginger, we repeatedly returned to the work of two legendary typographers — Paul Renner and Herb Lubalin. In particular, it was the alternatives in Renner’s Futura and Lubalin’s Avant Garde Gothic, that paved the way for F37 Ginger’s geometric slant. Over the years we have updated and improved F37 Ginger with refined and optimised proportions. We’ve also extended extended the choices of weights and styles, with a Soft variant now available. Currently, F37 Ginger supports a wide range of languages, with over 500 glyphs, covering 252+ languages, including Extended Latin, Cyrillic and Greek writing systems. Version 5.0 further adds support for languages using the Arabic script, including: Standard Arabic, Farsi and Urdu. To pair seamlessly with the original 3 scripts, F37 Ginger Arabic is routed in a contemporary blend of Kufic and Naskh style calligraphy. A strong geometric skeleton, short descenders and spacious counterforms all aid in the font families multi-script cohesion. [f37foundry.com]
