Collier

Collier is a wildly versatile flare serif family initially designed for display typography. However, this subtly tapered face has several styles that perform well in text sizes, starting at 8pt. As it happened, Richard Lipton had a chance encounter with a hand-lettered bookplate from the early twentieth century that provided the impetus for this sprawling family of 168 styles, 7 widths, 12 weights, with Italics. Collier occupies that rare zone between serif and sans serif, harnessing the best of both. [liptonletterdesign.com]
