Arkitekt Text

Arkitekt Text, specifically designed for text use, was developed in parallel with Arkitekt. These two optically designed families are unified in their technical, material design attributes. The underlying qualities of symmetry, balance, and rhythm are reflected at a macro scale in text–with a unique, contemporary, machined texture, which is rather unorthodox in a text face. Collectively, the Arkitekt Text family was reduced from its parent of sixteen display styles to twelve carefully designed text-specific styles in a carefully allocated weight range focused on functionality. The letterforms have been optimized by a significant reduction in contrast, in addition to a critical increase in spacing, allowing it to perform in the most demanding, professional text settings.
